Meet Our President
Jennifer Peterson
President
Jennifer worked at Syracuse University for 11 years prior to starting VSI. During her tenure at SU, she was responsible for overseeing a multimillion dollar department with over 20 employees. In 1998 she decided to put her knowledge to work to create her own business. 16 years later VSI is still going strong and continuing to offer quality services and products for businesses throughout Central NY.
Jennifer was a guest speaker at the WISE Conference in 2004 and 2005.
Jen and her family reside in Jamesville. Jennifer has competed in 2 Iron Girl triathlons, the Labrador Mountain Run and volunteers for many organizations.
WBE Certification
We have been certified since 2000. VSI became one of the first Janitorial companies in Syracuse to receive a WBE (women-owned business) certification in NYS. Companies may say they are woman-owned, but we are certified in New York State. Contact us for all of your WMBE purchasing needs.
